Intro…
Players 2-3: playing individually against one another.
Equipment: Each player has 5 work tokens; 1 people token. The games have 20 event cards, resource tokens¸ each player will have 9 preventive measure cards, population chart.
Object of the game: to survive with the most people.
To Start the game: give each player 5 work tokens, Place one token for each player on 100 people. Place the 20+ event card face down. Roll dice to see you go first (high roll go first) counter clockwise after that. Pick a game master who will facilitate the events and invasion.
Gamemaster: Manages the event and hands out resource tokens.
Resources: Each player will have 5 worker tokens to place on various place on the board to gain the resource. Each player can place more the one token on a place.
Event Cards: each player will draw an event card during each round. This is what is happening to their population during that round.
Preventive Measures Cards: Are the defenses the players can build with the correct number of resources.
Invasion: only happen in the later rounds. Each player can only invade once, if they choose. The player that invades roll the dice than the defending player rolls, highest number wins the loser rolls again and times it by 3 that is the number of people lost.
Designated survivor: use only if a player has lost all their people. Roll the dice the number that is on the dice times it by 5 that is the number of people who survived.

Round 1:
Phase 1: resource collection
—- Place your 5 works on resources to collect resource points for this round.
— Resource points can only be use in the round collected unless otherwise stated by an event card.
Phase 2: Building preventive measures
— lay out preventive measure cards
— Use resource points to build preventive measures
— Preventive measures only cover the current event phase
Phase 3: Event phase
— Draw one event card. (note: This card will effect only the player that has drawn the card)
— Follow cards penalties or effect
— Gamemaster will determine If preventive measure reduces damage of event factor damage reduction into penalty
— After damage has been dealt return event to the deck and shuffle
— Repeat steps until all players have drawn an event card and receive damage or effect
— Return preventive measures to gamemaster
Phase 4: End of round
— Clear all workers, resource and preventive measure
